Enhancing the Baggage Tracking System
OneSpring worked with Delta Air Lines to help them modernize their existing mainframe-based baggage tracking system to a more efficient web-based application.
In addition to saving money, by delivering ahead of schedule the IT group was able to devise new technologies with their partners that resulted in an overall improvement to the quality of the final system.
The new baggage tracking solution provided a number of additional “touch points” from reservations to gate to carousel. The system modernized an existing mainframe application, mobile hand-held devices and a web-based portal application.
