Bio: Broadway DEBUT! Eric is a San Francisco Bay Area native. He grew up in a very musical family with band night every Monday at his grandparent’s house, a father who plays bass and cello, and a musically inclined mother who despite what she says has a very lovely voice. Eric’s parents discovered their son’s love for singing during bath time at the age of three when they made him sing so they could leave the bathroom and insure that he was not under water.
It wasn’t until later in high school that Eric discovered musical theater. He auditioned for the local children’s theater and performed in such shows as; The Who’s Tommy, Aida, Once on this Island… yup and Jesus Christ Superstar.
After leaving high school early and getting a full time job working with dual diagnosed adults, he was accepted into the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York. Six short years later he is making his Broadway debut.
