User Experience (UX) Designers are the yin to the BA’s yang, the peas to the BA’s carrots, the...enough of the corny metaphors. You get the idea.

 

While the BA focuses on working with members of the business and IT, the UX Designer brings an important new person to the discussion: The end user of the system. As hard as it may be to believe, the end user is often not considered in traditional discussions between business and IT. Or, more often, the end user’s needs are covered in a statement that sounds something like, “I used to do what our users do, so I know what they need.”

 

Our UX Designers won’t settle for anything less than the best, so they get involved in a couple of ways. First, they gather as much information as they can about your users and how they use your system. Then, they apply their best-practices knowledge of how people use systems similar to yours and they work with you to produce a design that your business, IT, and users will absolutely love.
